ABC's - More Than Just the Alphabet

Susan Young inspired me to use the ABC’s as a blog post, so I am going to use the ABCs and offer advice to my fellow readers.

Advance from the failures in life.  Failure makes you stronger, and without failure you cannot succeed.

Be in the know.  You don’t necessarily need to know everything, but one should be in the know with what is going on with friends and family.  It helps build character.

Consider all of your outcomes.  Life may not be headed in the direction you may want, but don’t give up, whenever there is a bad outcome a good one is bound to happen.  Keep your head up, live and learn.

Determination is key.  Without determination one cannot complete any tasks.

Enjoy life.  Have fun, and live life to its fullest, if you don’t you may never know what you will miss.

Forgive often.  Life’s too short to hold grudges, forgive often and make new friends.

Go the distance.  Go the distance and help yourself and others.  Donate, do community work, etc.  You may actually enjoy it, and it does look good on a resume or college application.

Hold onto those who matter.  You can’t let those who matter slip away, hold them tight and embrace what they can do for you.  Happiness will come your way.

Image isn’t everything.  Quit worrying if you look perfect, those who matter won’t care what you look like.  You are beautiful in every single way, just remember that.

Journey to where you want to go.  Take exciting journeys, not necessarily trip, you can always try something new, or make the journey to make a new friend.

Know your limits.  Life is about pushing yourself, but know your limits.  You don’t want to push yourself too hard that you risk getting hurt.

Live, laugh, and love. Live every moment, laugh every day, and love beyond words.

Mesmerize others.  Hold the attention of someone, who knows maybe that ‘special’ someone is looking.

Never say never.  Life has no boundaries, so never say never with any possibilities.

Offer advice.  Someone is always looking for advice, never be afraid to voice your opinions, in the long run it could help someone.

Point yourself in the path of success.  You know what you want, so point yourself in that direction and head that way.

Quit listening to the lies people tell.  Lies only get you into trouble, especially if you forward the lies.  You only hurt yourself and others.

Respect others.  Respect goes a long way, and without it you just look immature and stupid.

Sing like no one is listening.  Never be afraid to be yourself, sing like no one is listening and live in the moment forever.

Take the leap of faith.  Never hold back on anything, take the leap of faith and try something new.

Understand where people come from.  Not everyone is what you would call ‘normal’, so take the time to get to know them, you may be surprised that you aren’t any different than they are.

Voice new ideas.  Who knows your ideas could make work, friendship, etc. better.  Never be afraid to say what you need to say.

Watch and learn.  Watch and learn from others, they may be the key to your success.

X-ray your life.  Take a look into your life and find those flaws that make you you.  Also take that time to find those aspects that make you shine.

Yield to life sometimes.  Take the time to take a minute and yield, in that time take a chance to reflect on the positive impacts in life.

Zero in on your talents.  Who wants to be stuck doing something they don’t love, use your talents and do something you want to do.

The ABC's are clearly more than just the alphabet.

Presenting...Andrea

This is the first time I have ever wrote a blog, I have always wanted to, and now thanks to motivation from friends here it is :)
I hope that you like the posts that I do, and if not well what I am to do.
I first want to say that I had no idea what to name my blog so I kept it as This Is Real, This Is ME because I am hoping that people come to see the real me, I am tired of being the shy outspoken one.   It is also a quote from a song (This is Me by Demi Levato) the song, I feel, pretty much explains who I am so I figured why not use that as my blog name.  Anyways..This is Me..
I am not the prettiest girl out there in the world, but I know I am not the ugliest.  I may not like the way I look, but I take what the Lord has given me, and I am happy about it.  I have blue eyes, and depending on the way I cut my hair and the color of shirt I am wearing the more blue my eyes become.  I have layers upon layers of teeth, three to be exact (I always tell people I am half shark).  My mouth is so small I can only fit three of my finger in my mouth (horizontally and vertically).  I am 5'6" tall, not the tallest, but not the shortest.  I am a kind-hearted girl and tend to put others before myself.
I got married on May 21, 2011 (that day was suppose to be the end of the world) to the most amazing man in the world.  His name is Joseph Aryle McCormack, his friends and family call him Rylie.  We have been married for 8 month and 22 days today (not that I am counting or anything).  Being married was one of the best blessing that has happened to me, I have had a crush on Rylie since the fifth grade (it was love at first sight).  He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Price, Utah back in 2004.  He never did like me at first, just because I am 3 years younger than him and he didn't know me.  It took me 6 years to get him to go out with me, but that's in the past though, and we are together now and that is all that counts.  I live in Logan Utah in a little apartment with my husband.  The apartment has one extra large bedroom, a small bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower in it, and it has a living room with the kitchen in it (yes the kitchen is in the living room)..moving was a huge step for us because we are college students and now we have bills to pay, rent to pay, and now medical bills.  Welcome to the adult life, looking forward to it..
I have two brothers, an older brother named Steven who is currently serving in Japan as a member of the U.S. Navy, and a younger brother Dylan who is/will be a member of the U.S. Army, and a twin sister Angela who is happily married with an almost one-year-old son, and another baby on the way.  I guess you can say that I feel the pressure from her and my parents since she is married and has kids, I am just not ready, I don't know when I will be, but when I am I want to have two children, preferably one boy and one girl, but I will take what I get.  Everyone says that I look just like my mother, and honestly I actually do.  My mom is my hero, her name is Rebecca.  She has a disease in her legs which make them super sensitive, she cannot walk, wear pants, or have anything or anyone touch her legs.  She did recently have a procedure where they put a pain pump in her back, and because of this I was able to see my mom walk without seeing the pain in her face.  This is life's biggest miracle.  I haven't seen my mom walk like this since I was in third grade.  You can't even imagine the feeling that everyone was feeling that day.  Anyways, I think this is a great place to end this blog.
Until next time...
Peace..Love..Wal*Mart
